"wall is a wall is a wall is a wall" follows the creation process of the show "Which Way is tomorrow?" by the Associação Terceira Pessoa, co-created with male and female inmates of the Guarda Prison Facility. The documentary was recorded between November 2021 and July 2022 in the city of Guarda. There's the punishment for being who you once were and the urge to become someone else. How can the performative arts bring some sort of freedom for this transformation to take place? Enclosed within four walls, the construction of a safe place begins – where there is nothing but time to kill

"Which way is tomorrow?" presents itself as a plan to escape time, challenging the moral ideas we have of what is good or evil, turning viewers into hostages of themselves, in a parallel universe where the audience is pushed along a poetic, erratic and unpredictable path. This is a piece about people who are lost in time and who pause their lives to meet the audience in the present time and say, "This is the torn page of the book I didn't write."
